Dispatch Information
We know you’re eager to receive your order quickly. We aim to dispatch items the same working day if ordered before 1 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note, some exceptions apply, such as products requiring assembly or those stored in different warehouses. Orders placed after 1 pm will be dispatched the next working day (excluding weekends).
Next day delivery services apply to the next working day (Monday to Friday). Orders placed before 1 pm on Friday will be delivered the following Monday.
Bicycle Delivery Terms & Conditions
•Standard Bicycle Delivery (2-5 Working Days): Free
•Next Day Bicycle Delivery: £9.99
•Saturday Bicycle Delivery: £39.99
All bicycles are shipped free with DX and are packaged securely, requiring minor assembly. We recommend having a trained bicycle mechanic handle this.
If you would like your bike delivered fully assembled, select this option during checkout for an additional £50.
E-Bike Delivery
•Standard Delivery (3-5 Days): Free
•1-2 Day Delivery: £19.99
Delivery is free to most UK locations, but some offshore areas, as well as parts of Scotland and the Highlands, may incur a £39.99 surcharge and extended lead times. Please check the shipping cost at checkout.
Important Delivery Information
If you’re unable to accept delivery on the specified day, please inform us as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date or request the item be left in a safe place. A tracking notification from the courier will be provided once your item is shipped.
UK Non-Mainland & Remote Area Charges
We offer competitive pricing, but there are additional surcharges for orders going outside the UK mainland or to remote areas. These costs will be confirmed during the checkout process once you enter your address.
Not Received Your Order?
If you haven’t received an email confirming that your order has been dispatched, contact us at 01223 322450 or support@richardsonsonline.co.uk, and our customer service team will assist you.
If your item hasn’t been delivered within the specified timeframe, please contact us with your order reference number (found in your order confirmation email).
Damaged Orders/Items
If your items arrive damaged, please contact us immediately. If the packaging is visibly damaged, do not sign for the goods. Notify us via email of any damage within 7 working days.
Please Note: If you have instructed the courier to leave your package in an insecure location, we cannot claim for missing items or damage. We recommend asking the courier to leave your package with a trusted neighbor or at a local depot.
Additional Notes
•DPD Delivery: DPD will attempt delivery once more after the first attempt. If undelivered after the second attempt, the parcel will go to a local DPD Pick-up Point. For the full list of pick-up points, click here.
•Failed Delivery: After two failed attempts, if the parcel is not collected, it will be returned to us. You can choose a refund minus a 5% restocking fee or opt to rearrange delivery at our standard charge (depending on parcel/item type).
•Promotional Items: Some promotional items may not qualify for free postage.
•Bicycle Shipping: Bicycles are shipped from a separate warehouse and may arrive before other items in your order. We aim to deliver all items by the date provided in your order confirmation.
